"A delightful breed to have the pleasure of going over again. Sadly toplines were mixed on close examination, coats lacked the desired double jacket, namely a soft linty undercoat and a harder top coat. "In the days of showing our Dandies in the ?50s, a lovely large, bright, full and round eye was evident but not in today?s modern Dandie. Rear movement on some exhibits disappointed particularly on drive in profile round the ring which unfortunately did not have nice short grass and was wet. "My most sincere thanks to all my exhibitors for a most interesting and challenging days assignment."

Puppy Dog	1st: Rolland's Dandiroyal Diggory Delvet Home bred mustard of 9 months, litter brother to BP (bitch). A delightful youngster of quality and of good type with pleasing head, well placed ears, dark eye and a true Dandie expression. Stands on good front with ample bone, strong neck flowing into well laid shoulders, pleasing topline and tailset, strong hindquarters, moved with plenty of drive, nicely presented.

Junior Dog/Bitch	1st: Bell's Hawkesmill Indigo Quality bred pepper of 1 years with well balanced head, sweet expression, beautifully proportioned in body shape with correct topline & nicely placed well feathered tail. Good turn of stifle, in reasonable coat, moved out well both ways.

Novice Dog	1st: Doyle's Dentgate Jackfrost at Ilexquercus A pleasing mustard of 20 months with appealing head, good mouth, nice wide straight boned front with round well padded feet. Nice length of body, steady mover with well held feathered tail, coat of pleasing texture, well handled.

Postgraduate Dog	2nd: MacPherson's Dawsholm Wee Darick As this was a ch event I felt justified in making this award. This pepper of 5 years was not in show mode and was carrying excessive weight for his frame but nevertheless had a most appealing Dandie dark eye and responded well to his handler.

Limit Dog	1st: Gregg's Dariant Lui Vencedor Di Mi Soul at Bambusa This mustard had well bred Russian sire and dam, he is 22 months with a balanced headpiece. Would have liked a larger eye. Well boned, straight front with chest well down between legs, strongly made muscular neck set into well placed shoulders, pleasing ribcage with topline, well angulated quarters. Coat not at its best.
	2nd: Kerrush's Inzievar Silver And Gold Another nice type pepper of 2 years. Litter brother to BOB and built on similar lines. Beautiful balanced head with slightly longer muzzle, fine ears, strong legs and well padded feet. Harsh top coat. Not the stride of 1.

Open Dog	1st: Eriksson's Inzievar Wins Gold An eyecatching mustard of 2 years with typical Dandie head, well domed forehand, dark eye and well positioned ears, good mouth and appealing expression, good strong jaw and well muscled neck which balanced his outline. Nicely boned with excellent body shape, sturdy quarters and well constructed throughout. Super presentation and jacket, moved with drive to win this class. Moved as one with experienced handler.
	2nd: Bromley's Mishahda Volcanic Storm A very likeable homebred pepper of 4 years, so well made. Nicely presented with typical head and nice reach of neck, desired length of body with good spring of rib, moved out freely.
	3rd: Milliner's Ire Ch. Xenon z Roxburku Sun at Millerim

Veteran Dog	1st: Riach's Puddockswell Gilded Imp Nicely presented mustard of 7 years, well proportioned throughout, standing on firm front with well padded feet, pleasing round eye and thin ears, coupled with strong muscular neck and good ribcage. Coat of pleasing texture.

Puppy Bitch	1st: Rolland's Dandieroyal Puddleglum Very well bred pepper of 9 months portraying what one expects of a typical Dandie youngster, so full of quality, excellent shaped head, forehand well domed, lovely eye shape, colour and expression (reminded me of the 1960 Dandie model by Eva Niven). Stands on excellent front with strong bone, well proportioned body and good tailset, strongly made hindquarters, coat of pleasing texture. Moved out with drive like a veteran, soundly both ways. Should have a promising future, watch out for her.
	2nd: Tinsley's Cloverwood Edged In Gold Another well made mustard of good type, is home bred of 8 months. Again most promising with traditional Dandie headpiece, pleasing eye, good mouth, nice length of body of correct shape, good spring of rib and tail carriage, coat coming through of good texture.
	3rd: Denham's Dentgate Fire Opal
	Res: Miller's Dryfevalley Minnie The Minx

Junior Bitch	1st: Milliner's Dandiroyal Ferrywiggle at Millerim Litter sister to BP, nicely put together and of excellent type and size with pleasing Dandie head and eye. Well boned front, chest well let down, muscular neck, good outline, moved out with purpose and drive on sturdy well made hindquarters.
	2nd: Russell's Hawkesmill Ishbelle Another well bred pepper of excellent bloodlines, homebred with lovely temperament, coupled with good balanced head. Pleasing in neck and shoulder placement, desired length of body, free mover.
	3rd: Dunipace's Hawkesmill Iolanthe

Novice Bitch	1st: Dunipace's Hawkesmill Iolanthe Quality homebred pepper of 22 months, excellent type with true Dandie expression, dark eye, good mouth, well laid shoulders, strong sturdy quarters which she used well in profile. Coat of pleasing texture.
	2nd: Allan's Dalmuster Serene Princess This mustard of 22 months portrays a typical Dandie of nice size and balanced outline with appealing head, low slung body, strong quarters with correctly carried tail. Did have the tendency to hop slightly when moving.

Postgraduate Bitch	1st: Denham's Dentgate Royal Jubilee Honest looking homebred pepper of 2 years with well balanced head, expressive dark eyes with muscular neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Stands on well padded feet, correct topline, strode out with drive from rear, soundly coming and going, in lovely presentation.

Limit Bitch	1st: Tinsley's Cloverwood Drama Queen Quality homebred pepper of 3 years with a very happy temperament. Of excellent type with true Dandie features, strong head and stop, well muscled weasley body, good straight front, neck and shoulders, well sprung ribcage, firm quarters with good tailset, moved out well with experienced handler.
	2nd: Corish's Cloverwood Five Stars Well constructed pepper of 18 months with dark eyes and a gorgeous expression. Strong jaw, good mouth and well muscled neck, pleasing ribcage. Firm quarters and topline. Not in full furnishings today. A very active mover.
	3rd: Jarvis's Inzievar Summer Gold at Mosterlada
	Res: Denham's Dentgate Hollyberries
	VHC: Miller's Puddockswell Truly Scruptious at Dryfevalley

Open Bitch	1st: Ray's Dentgate Sweet Symphony Beautifully proportioned quality mustard of nice size with typical Dandie head, dark round eye, pleasing stop and muzzle, well let down in chest, short strong forelegs, very muscular neck, ribs well sprung and round, well developed thighs, moved out with drive soundly. Has desired double jacket of good texture, moved out with handler as a team soundly. Later informed this is her 2nd CC and I wish her well in the future.
	2nd: Russell's Ch/Aus Ch. Jollygaze Hopeless Romantic for Hawkesmill A quality Dandie, homebred of 5? years, this pepper had an appealing Dandie head which balanced her outline, good front, strong bone and padded feet with muscular neck set into nicely laid shoulders, good ribcage and topline, moved out on well muscled quarters.
	3rd: Eriksson's Se/No/Dk Ch. Scottsbairn Royal Anabella
	Res: Rolland's Clossongrey Marshwiggle
	VHC: Chapman-King's Ch. Inzievar Sparkling Silver

Veteran Bitch	1st: Jarvis's Mosterlada Shooting Star A typical quality mustard headed Dandie of champion parentage. Beautifully proportioned throughout, is well let down in chest with ample bone and pleasing body length, tailset and firm hindquarters. Correct textured jacket, happy mover fore and aft for her 8 years.
	2nd: Bromley's Ch. Mishahda Cinnamon Crumble Another mustard girl homebred of 12 years who looked the part with her typical desired Dandie features and excellent presentation. But she would persist in showing me an occasional ?hop?, a great pity.
