Minor Puppy Dog - 2nd

Much smaller and just a babe of 6 months and he is lacking spring of rib and coat. I liked his size and length balance, he does have that slight dip behind the withers and his head and expression were fine. Needs ring training as he joined the ‘nose down, bums high’ brigade as he went around the ring, making his action hard to assess.

Manchester Dog Show Society, 16th January 2014.   Judge: Mr Philip J Greenway

Puppy Dog - 1st

Nice typy well balanced 8 months pepper with a very pleasing head and expression, well angulated front and rear, good topline and tail carriage, nice bone and feet. Needs to firm up in movement.

National Terrier, 5th April 2014.   Judge: Mrs Beverly Deacon

Puppy Dog - 1st

Two litter brothers here, very similar in many ways, 1st is more forward in coat than 2nd and will no doubt change places many times. Dark eyes and good skulls for their age. Fronts are a bit untidy but time will improve. Both moved with confidence.

Ideal sized pepper Dandie, very lively, lovely topline and shape. Moved very well, masculine head with dark eyes and good mouth. More time spent on presentation would finish the picture. RCC.

This well balanced pepper dog appealed for type and has a quality head without being overdone, well placed dark eye with a lovely expression. True front, good legs and feet, well ribbed body, good over the loin. Coat of good texture that was well presented. He moved well both ways and gave a good picture standing to win this class.

Close decision between these litter brothers. Many of the above remarks apply to Indigo as he also has a lovely head with good expression, nice neck and shoulders, well sprung rib and correct weasely shape. Shown in good quality coat and appears very keen to please his handler. However, not so true in front move movement as Indiana.
